Submittable enables organizations to choose whether or not to allow submitters to send messages about their submissions. Messages are an easy way for submitters to contact organizations regarding a particular submission.
To allow a submitter to send messages:
1. Under the More dropdown menu, select Account.
2. In the Profile section, scroll down to the Enable Submitter Messages checkbox. If you would like to enable submitters to initiate messages about a submission, check this box. Otherwise, leave it unchecked.
3. When a submitter sends an initial message about a submission, message will be sent to your organization's main account email address.
4. Even if this setting is left unchecked, the submitter can reply to any message they've received from an organization member.
