NOTE: To view an image file from within the submission details page, it should be in a web-friendly format (e.g., JPEG, JPG, PNG, or GIF). Non-web-friendly file formats shown in the accepted file types list will not display the file in the submission details page but will be downloadable for reviewers to view offline using the appropriate software.

For example, EPS files are an Adobe format, primarily used in Photoshop. Submittable doesn't transcribe EPS files inside the submission details viewer because they're not web-friendly and are primarily used to send files that are still being worked on and passed between collaborators.
