Submittable enables you to add web images to your organization's Response Template emails. It's simple to do using the image tool in the formatting bar as shown here:

Next, you'll want to find the image you want to use. Note that the image must be taken from an online location. It cannot be uploaded into the response template.

To copy an image address online

  1. Open up a web browser, and choose the image you would like to insert from a live webpage. Please make sure you have the rights to use this image.
  2. Right-click on the image with your mouse or touchpad and select Copy Image Address (or the equivalent, depending on your web browser).

To place an image into a response template

  1. Select More > Configurations, then select Response Templates on the left side of the page.
  2. Choose Create a Response Template to create a new response template, or click on Edit to the right of an existing template to make changes to it.
  3. Select the photo icon in the formatting bar, then paste the HTML image address into the Image URL entry box. Add some required descriptive text into the Alt Text box to ensure that your response template complies with accessibility standards. Then click the Add button.

You will now see your image appear in your response template.

4. Add additional text or images to your Response Template, then click Save Template at the bottom of the page.
