If you're using your mobile device to complete an application, you may need to upload files stored on your device, or stored in the cloud (but accessed and controlled by your device). Here is some brief information about uploading files to an application using an iPhone, iPad or Android mobile device.

Using an iPhone to Upload Files to an Application

When you click on a Choose Files button in any Submittable application, you'll see the following options:

  • Photo Library

  • Take Photo or Video

  • Browse

You can upload files directly from your Photo Library, take a photo with your camera on the spot, or select the Browse option to navigate and select Files stored on your iPhone, or in your iCloud account.

Note, the Files app pre-installed on your phone if you're using an iPhone with IOS 12 or higher. The Files app, introduced in iOS 11, is used to access both stored files and cloud services on your iPhone and/or iPad. You will have the option to upload from your phone, iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

Uploading files from an Android Device

Uploading from your Android device is similar to an iPhone. If you are completing an application that requires an upload, simply tap the Choose File button. Depending on your Android device, it should open up a screen that looks similar to the image below:

From here, you can click on files stored on your device, such as images, audio, or video files. Select recently viewed files, or access cloud storage services such as Google Drive.
