Permission Levels

Choose from five different permission levels to manage the administrative capabilities of each team member.

Permission levels determine how much access and control your team members have in your organization's Submittable account. Each member of the team has an associated permission level set by an administrator. Permission levels can be set when a new team member is added and edited as needed.

Level 1

Level 1 team members can view, add notes, and review submissions assigned to them. They can export CSVs, PDFs, and submission files from assigned submissions. They cannot change the status of a submission, send messages to submitters, or reassign submissions to other team members.

Level 2

Level 2 team members can view, add notes, review, and reassign submissions assigned to them. They can export CSVs, PDFs, and submission files from assigned submissions. They cannot change the status of a submission.

​Note: Level 1 and 2 reviewers cannot see assigned submissions if they are open for editing. They will be able to view them again after they have been closed for editing.

Level 3

Level 3 team members can fully administer submissions assigned to them, including sending additional forms and updating the status. They cannot change review stages, view notes set to Admins Only, or perform actions that affect the entire account.

Level 4

Level 4 team members can fully administer submissions assigned to them, send additional forms, and create and edit projects and forms. They cannot perform any actions associated with More>Account.

Level 5

Level 5 team members have access to all account features and can fully manage other team members, submissions, configurations, projects and forms, and all actions associated with More>Account.
