How can I withdraw my submission?

Submitters can withdraw an active submission at any time.

Changed your mind, saw a glaring error, or can't reach the organization to approve editing? You may want to withdraw your submission and try again.

To withdraw an active submission:

  1. Sign in to your Submittable account.

  2. Click on the title of the submission that you wish to withdraw.

  3. When the submission opens, click the Withdraw link in the upper-right area:

When a dialog box appears, type a Reason for withdrawal that will be received by the organization:

Click the Withdraw button. Your submission status will now be set to Withdrawn.

Note: If your submission is in a terminal status (Accepted, Declined, or Completed), you will see a Remove link instead. This means it's no longer in the organization's review workflow. Click the button if you'd like to remove it from your list view.

Removed a submission by mistake?

Don't worry! Contact Support, and they'll restore it for you.
